MDCAT 2026 Result Is Out: What to Do Next for MBBS and BDS Admission
Your MDCAT 2026 result is out. Admission schedules for 2026-27 had not been announced as of 25 September. A checklist of what to do before they are.
Results are out in most provinces. The next stage is admissions. As of 25 September 2026, no province had announced its 2026-27 MBBS/BDS admission schedule, merit list dates or application window. Use the gap to get ready so you are not rushing on the day portals open.
Checklist
- Download and save your result card from your university's portal, and keep a PDF and a printout.
- Check your marks now. Recount windows are short. See recount and grievances.
- Calculate your aggregate with the aggregate calculator, so you can judge public versus private options realistically.
- Gather documents. Usual requirements: Matric and FSc certificates or result cards, CNIC or B-form, domicile, passport-size photographs, and your MDCAT result card. Get attested copies ready.
- Apply for your domicile now if you do not have one. Provincial quotas depend on it, and it can take time.
- Shortlist colleges: public and private, MBBS and BDS. Check that each is recognised by PMDC.
- Watch the official sites for the admission policy and schedule. Punjab public colleges go through UHS, KP through KMU, Balochistan through BUMHS, and Sindh through its designated university. Private colleges run their own process under PMDC rules.
Ignore old dates
Search results are full of deadlines like "30 November for public, 15 December for private". Those belong to the 2025 cycle. Wait for the 2026-27 notices.
