MDCAT 2026 Recount and Grievances: How to Challenge Your Result
Think your MDCAT 2026 marks are wrong? Each province has its own recount or grievance route. The official portals for UHS, KMU, STS and the rest, and what to prepare.
If you believe your MDCAT 2026 score is wrong, the route depends on which university conducted your test. Windows are short, often a day or two, so act as soon as your result is out.

Recount or key objection: know which you need
- Recount or retotalling checks that your answer sheet was read and added up correctly. Use it if your score differs from what you counted against the final key.
- A key objection argues that the official answer to a question is wrong. It usually has to be filed earlier, while the key is provisional, and it changes marks for everyone who sat that paper.
Before you file
- Have your roll number, booklet code and CNIC or B-form number ready.
- Count your score again against the final key for your booklet code, not an exam-day copy.
- For a key objection, name the question and give the reason, citing a textbook where you can.
- Save a screenshot of your submission and any reference number.
A recount rarely changes a score by more than a mark or two. If your total is far from what you expected, check first that you used the key for your own booklet code.
