MDCAT 2026 was held on Sunday 20 September 2026 in 34 cities across Pakistan and at a centre in Riyadh. There is no single national result. Each conducting university set and marked its own paper, so each publishes its own result. By 25 September, UHS, KMU, Sukkur IBA and BUMHS had released theirs, and SZABMU had said its updated result would follow that day.

Why the pass rates differ so much
Every province had a different paper, a different number of candidates and, in the press, a different way of reporting "passed". Punjab's 79.43% counts candidates at or above the MBBS mark of 99/180. KP's 66% is KMU's own overall success ratio. We explain this in 66% or 79.43%?.

Is there one national MDCAT 2026 result?
No. PMDC sets the rules, but each conducting university publishes its own result for its own paper: UHS for Punjab, KMU for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sukkur IBA (STS) for Sindh, BUMHS for Balochistan and SZABMU for Islamabad, AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan and the Riyadh centre.
What are the passing marks for MDCAT 2026?
