Balochistan MDCAT 2026 Candidates Challenge BUMHS Answer Key
Candidates at the Quetta Press Club alleged several wrong answers in the BUMHS MDCAT 2026 key and asked for all four booklets, an expert review and a hold on final results.
On Thursday 25 September 2026, MDCAT candidates held a press conference at the Quetta Press Club. They alleged that the answer key published by Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMHS) for the Balochistan paper contains multiple wrong answers.
What candidates are asking for
- Publication of all four question booklets (A, B, C and D), so that the key can be checked against the actual papers.
- An expert committee to review the disputed answers.
- No final result until the objections have been examined.
They said they would protest, including by hunger strike, if the demands were not met. No official response from BUMHS had been reported at the time of writing.
This comes from a single local report, and we have not seen the disputed questions. We will update this page if BUMHS or PMDC responds.
Context
BUMHS released its result the same day. The top score was 164/180, well below the top scores in Punjab and KP, and that has fed candidates' concern that the paper or its key had problems (BUMHS result). Elsewhere, SZABMU reviewed objections and corrected its key before issuing an updated result, so key corrections this cycle are not unheard of (SZABMU).
