How many candidates registered for MDCAT 2026 in Punjab, KP, Sindh, Balochistan, AJK, GB, Islamabad and Riyadh, and how many actually sat the test where the figures are out.
PMDC reported 138,160 registrations for MDCAT 2026, the Riyadh centre included. The test ran on 20 September 2026 in 34 cities across Pakistan plus Riyadh, and each province set its own paper.

Notes on the numbers
- The provincial figures come from PMDC as reported on 19 September. The universities' own counts differ slightly: UHS says 49,202 registered and KMU says 38,845 applied. Dunya News put the total at 138,158.
- "Appeared" figures come from each university's result announcement and are added as they are released.
- Punjab and KP together account for almost two-thirds of all candidates.
