MDCAT 2026 "Leaked Paper" Was Fake, Says STS
A so-called leaked MDCAT 2026 paper spread on WhatsApp and social media around exam day. Sukkur IBA Testing Services declared it fake. What happened and how to spot the next one.
Around exam day, 20–21 September 2026, a "leaked MDCAT 2026 paper" spread on WhatsApp groups and social media, mainly aimed at Sindh candidates. Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS), which conducted the Sindh test, declared it fake and warned candidates not to share or rely on it.
What happened
- Images said to be the Sindh paper circulated online around the test.
- STS publicly said the material was not its paper.
- No 2026 court case or FIA investigation over a leak had been reported as of 25 September. The Sindh re-test and leak probes you may see mentioned date from 2024.
How to spot a fake leak
- Timing. "Leaks" that show up after the paper has been handed out prove nothing. Anyone in the hall could have photographed it.
- The source. Official papers and keys are only ever published on the university's own website.
- Payment. Anyone selling a paper before the test is running a scam, and anyone who buys one risks disqualification.
- Codes. Real papers have booklet codes and a consistent format. Screenshots with neither are almost always fabricated.
The only reliable preparation
MDCAT questions keep coming back to the same syllabus concepts. Practising real past paper MCQs year by year is worth far more than any "leak".
